The Programming Club of Department of Computer Science & Engineering had conducted two days Online Internal Hackathon for the second year students of Computer Science (CS) and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) branch on 21st and 22nd August 2020 successfully.

A total of 37 teams (each team with three members) had done the registration and participated. On 21st August first phase of event was conducted as per the following rules:
1. All teams had registered through the event registration link for participation in this event.
2. All solutions need to be submitted on HackerRank. Minimum one problem needs to be attempted.
3. Only one member of the team had to submit the solution on HackerRank. If more than one member of a team submitted the solution on HackerRank then that team was disqualified.
4. Rank and Marks of HackerRank were mapped into 60 Marks.

The second phase started by short listing 8 teams through Google Meet on 22nd August 2020, 1:00PM. These teams presented their logic and output and they were judged on three parameters: Problem Statement Explanation: 10 Marks, Programming Logic Explanation: 10 Marks and Viva-Voce: 20 Marks

The three teams were selected as the winning teams after completion of first and second phase. Sixty marks were given for the first phase and forty marks were given for the second phase to give a total score of 100 Marks.
Event concluding ceremony was conducted online through Google Meet on 23 August 2020, in which finalized results communicated to the students.

The event provided an opportunity for participants to learn new technologies. The event was a grand success as it brought together 111 (37*3=111) programmers and coders from second year CS and CSE department students in an attempt to collectively solve tricky problems facing evidence synthesis using technology.
