5th National Conference on ‘Information Technology for Business Transformation’ ITBT’18 was jointly organized by Department of Information Technology and Department of Computer Science at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad on 9th and 10th March, 2018. The conference was organized in association with CSI, Ghaziabad chapter, IETE, Noida and GMA. The Conference was inaugurated by lighting the lamp of knowledge. After that Dr. R. K. Agarwal, Director AKGEC welcomed all the Guests and Participants.

The honorable Chief Guest, Mr. Pramod Joshi, mentor, adviser to many educational institutions and start ups, emphasized that such conferences provide very good platform for research scholars, students and faculty members to share ideas and enhance their knowledge. He also stated that uses of information technology are growing in daily business, so everyone should be aware of it. He discussed a very effective method of evaluation of own performance. Guest of Honor, Dr. D. K. Lobiyal, Professor and Deans in the School of Computer and Systems Sciences, JNU, New Delhi, discussed the rapid development of Information Technology and its uses in the day to day life. He was very focused about natural language processing because language should not be a limitation for technology usages. He also impressed the audience by giving very interesting examples of real life.

Key Note Speaker, Mr. R. K. Vyas, from University of Delhi, highlighted the wide spread use of Information Technology in the business arena and presented many latest trends of research in the field of Information Technology such as IoT, Data Sciences and many more.

Good number of research papers were received, out of which, a total of 41 papers were selected for presentation and published in the proceedings of the conference in electronic form.

The technical session of conference was divided into five sess
ions. The sessions were conducted at two places in parallel and chaired by the experienced Experts in the domain.

The Proceedings of the conference were released in CD by Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Key Note speaker and Director AKGEC.

At the end of the conference certificates were distributed to various delegates and participants of the conference.
