The Republic Day celebration at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, was marked with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with the arrival of the esteemed Director General, who was escorted by the senior cadets of the NCC.

The ceremony began. with the hoisting of the national flag by the Director General, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity. In his address, the Director General praised the efforts of the students and the faculty in organizing such a grand celebration. He emphasized the importance of Republic Day and urged everyone to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution of India.

The highlight of the event was the parade, where cadets demonstrated their marching skills with impeccable coordination and flagged him the guard of honor. The Director General took the salute of the parade, appreciating the precision, dedication, and hard work of the cadets.

The College celebrated the 74th Republic Day of the Nation in the presence of Director General, Heads of Departments, Deans, faculty and staff. Director General Dr. R.K. Agarwal hoisted the tricolor followed by singing of the National Anthem by all. Dr. Agarwal addressed the gathering and spoke on the history of our Constitution. He also made appeal to all to be responsible citizens of the country and assured that each one of us can contribute to the progress of the Nation by performing his / her basic duties as a good citizen.

The day was celebrated in low profile due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the campus decorated with the tricolor ribbons and the National Flag amidst the playing of patriotic songs offered an environment full of patriotism and the feeling of tribute for those who laid down their lives during the struggle for freedom.
