The Anti-Ragging Kite Flying event was celebrated on 17th October 2024 at the college. Organized annually to raise awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and to foster a spirit of friendship among students of all years, the event saw enthusiastic participation. Kites of various sizes and shapes, along with charkhies, were provided by the college, and expert kite fliers were invited to guide students, faculty, and staff. Around 2000 students, along with 200 faculty members, staff, Heads of Departments, Deans, and Section Heads, participated, including Director and Director General Dr. R.K. Agarwal, making it a grand success. Awards were given to those who flew kites to the highest points and longest distances, and the event received coverage from local media.

AKGEC hosted an Anti Ragging Kite Flying event on October 20, 2023, starting at 2:00 pm at the college football ground. The occasion was honored by the presence of the Director General, Dr. R.K. Agarwal, along with all Heads of Departments, Deans, and faculty members. Approximately 2000 students enthusiastically participated in the event, flying multicolored kites adorned with Anti Ragging messages. It was a vibrant and impactful way to promote a ragging-free environment within the college.
