The Programming Club, Department of Computer Science & Engineering had organized a Coding Contest “Codecrunch" for the second and thrird year students of all branches of our college on 13th December, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in Computer Centre – I and CSE Labs, 3rd and 4th Floor, CS/IT Block .

The contest was conducted by Third and Fourth Year students to uplift the coding environment in the college in order to continue the legacy and spirits set forth by our Seniors, Teachers and Our College Administration. The contest was organized on HackerRank platform with an aim to facilitate programming skills among second and third year students with team , so they can cater the demands of the IT industry. In this contest, students solved five programming problems assigned to them in the area of Data Structures and Algorithms. They had chosen the programming language of their choice to solve these problems. Results were generated by HackerRank platform depending upon the time taken by the students to solve assigned problems and verifying their solutions on all test cases.

Total of 300 students registered for the contest out of which 250 attended the contest. Top 03 winning teams have been awarded Cash Prizes as follows:

Overall the coding contest was a beneficial and knowledgeable experience for all the participating students to learn more about Computer Programming Skills and its Applications. The event is an opportunity for participants to learn new technologies.
