Two days workshop on “CYBER SECURITY” was organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering in collaboration with Innovative Ideas InfoTech which is the largest NGO working on Cyber Security awareness across the, from 7-8 December 2023 for 3rd and 5th semester CSE students.

The seminar was conducted by Mr. Rahul Mishra. He is a cyber security practitioner, learning and guiding about security management, vulnerability assessment, Incident response, threat hunting and more. Currently he is working as cyber advisor with UP Police.

287 students participated in the workshop on 7 December 2023 and explored various dimensions of cyber security. The workshop encouraged students to gain knowledge on various challenges of cyber security. 59 interested students paid Rs. 800 to the Innovative Ideas Infotech for 8 December 2023 and gained practical knowledge on cyber security where they were given hands-on experience to prevent themselves from any cyber-attack.
